Philippines’ first Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz encouraged athletes participating in the Batang Pinoy 2025 to enjoy their experience, emphasizing the importance of enjoying the journey and representing their cities with pride
“To all the athletes na maglalaro sa Batang Pinoy, enjoy the game, enjoy the experience and do your best for your LGUs and for your self and enjoy the moment with your friends,” Diaz expressed in an interview on October 24, at New Society National High School (NSNHS)
Hidilyn Diaz is the head coach of weightlifters representing the province of Rizal who are currently billeted at NSNHS.
